Three item rule

I have noticed that in runescape when you die... you still have some items. I found out that you keep 3 of your most valuable items. For example... if you die with a bronze pickaxe, a Runeite scimitar, a cadava berry, Adamantite pickaxe and a steel Breastplate, you will respawn in lumbridge with just the addy pickaxe, rune scimmy, and the steel breastplate. You will only be resurrected with the 3 most valuable items (or at least which runescape thinks is most valuable). all other stuff is scattered... that is unless you have a skull... if you have a skull in your inventory EVERYTING is lost.

Also, when you go into the wilderness DONT TAKE ANYTHING. If you do, take only three things... take off all of your armour and put it in your inventory. then click on the three things you want to keep on you. ( or 1 or 2 items (unless you dont mind losing them)). if you see anyting on the ground... DONT PICK IT UP! if you do, you have a chance of dying and loosing the stuff you wanted to keep. I picked up some rune arrows and died and lost a steel breastplate.

Mining

I have leveled up in mining quite a bit. In the very beginning I could only mine tin and copper ore to make bronze. I started doing what is called power mining... I quit doing that because i knew if i did this, my smithing levels would suffer greatly. I would be able to mine good stuff, but not smith it. I started out ming bronze and then smithing it into bronze swords, then bronze long swords. I also made battle axes and hammers and whatever I could. but it was too hard to sell the battle axes ( a lot of people call battle axes a "b-axe"... this is different than a b sale which is a bank sale). So I started sout east of Varrock and went down back to Lumbridge to the furnace. I smelted the tin and copper to make the bronze. I went back to the mine to mine some more tin and copper. I went up to the bank and deposited the bronze bars. I went back to the mining area and filled up again. then back down to the furnace again... after quite a few trips doing this, I deposited the pickaxe and got the hammer out of the bank. I got as many bronze bars as I possably could. I went to the smith n of the bank and made daggers, then when I leveled up, I started making bronze swords. After a while I could start making long swords. I then sold these to the sword shop soutwest of the anvil shop. I sold all of the swords and took the money back to the bank. I found out that the sword shop doesnt buy two handed (2h) swords. After a while I was able to make chain mail and leg armour and I sold it there in the shop where I smithed it. This is the best way (for me anyway) to make money in runescape (so far).

Auto Miner

I was looking for some things on the internet about runescape and found that there are cheats. I found out that there are things called auto miners. I will try this and let you know what I have found out.

Update: I have found that there are a lot more than auto miners. There are also auto fighters, item duplicators, auto clickers, and more. I tried that auto miner and I first had to click a "sponser". the autominer was stupid. It didn't work. I found out that it's for complete lazy idiots that can level up much quicker doing it themselves than depend on a moronic program. the auto clicker is dumb too. it's pointless. The item duplicator is pointless too. It will duplicate what you have on hand, but you cant trade it or keep it. After you log out, you loose all of that stuff.

Getting around

Getting around is kindof hard. It takes a while. I have been to Lumbridge and Varrock. I got killed by a highway robber. I dont know where I was at the time. Dying sucks. I had a bunch of stuff on me. I lost almost everything. It took me a while to get stuff. I found out that there is a respawning pickaxe in a castle tower in lumbridge. Its three stories up.

I also found out that if you are trying to mine on a smoking rock... it will hurt you. Someone told me that you will get more ore if you keep on picking. :-(

Noob

I have noticed that one of the most common things said to me is noob. I dont think I will do this if I am at a higher level than other people.

My first post

I love runescape. I just started playing. I will be writing the stuff I do in runescape and how I level up. This blog will also be about doing stuff in runescape. If you need any hints or tips this (among many other places) is the place to come to.
