If you concentrate on one skill and get to a level where you can make money ... then you can easily use that money to gain a lot of other levels in other skills by buying the resources.
It really depends on which way you want to play - either raising skills or simply getting higher combat etc.
This is one of the few blogs that I see that is still at least somewhat active :P

Latona - It hasn't been too hard getting to this point... but I can tell hereafter that it will be hard... I can feel myself getting bored doing the same thing over and over again... I think I would have quit if it weren't for ranging... I'd love to be able to get my mage up... it just costs way too much money. So... concentrating on one skill is almost out of the question. (by the way latona... great sites!)
